Ansel Health Welcomes New COO, Tom Barone

We are excited to announce today that Tom Barone has joined our team as COO at Ansel Health. 

Tom joins Ansel on the heels of nationwide expansion and the implementation of several new partnerships with some of the industry’s most recognizable names to bring its supplemental health solution to Americans everywhere in 2024. As a part of this growth, Ansel recently announced a rebrand and raised a $20m round of financing led by Portage Ventures in Q1 2024. 

Prior to Ansel, Tom was a founding team member of Maven Clinic where he spent over 7 years building foundations for scale across departments. He established, hired, and oversaw teams in analytics, operations, client success, implementations, and product. He left as VP of Business and Clinical Operations, managing data analytics, network operations, and care delivery. Having successfully raised $300 million in his tenure, the company grew from 10 employees to ~600 and achieved a valuation of over $1bn.

With this deep experience, Tom will manage four core teams at Ansel: Member Services, Employer Services, Claims, and Operations. We welcome Tom as he joins us in our mission to build a world where health hardships don’t create financial burdens.
